Are you looking to delight your partner? Is your crush coming over for dessert? Stop everything: we’ve found the perfect recipe to awaken your taste buds and stimulate your senses! This recipe for aphrodisiac chocolate lava cake contains the three most recognized ingredients:

Chocolate: It contains arginine, an amino acid that has a vasodilating effect on the body and may facilitate blood flow to the genital areas. Additionally, consuming chocolate releases endorphins, the hormones related to pleasure.

Ginger: It contains gingerol, which is also a vasodilator and may promote sperm production in men.

Chili: Rich in capsaicin (the molecule responsible for its spiciness), which also has strong stimulating and vasodilating properties.

Recipe for 2 aphrodisiac chocolate lava cakes:

  • 100 g dark chocolate + 4 squares
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cream
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 40 g cornstarch
  • A pinch of ground ginger
  • A pinch of Espelette pepper

Instructions:

  1. Melt the 100 g of chocolate and the butter in the microwave. Stir well until you achieve a smooth and shiny mixture.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs and sugar. Add the fresh cream, chili, ginger, and cornstarch. Finally, mix in the chocolate/butter mixture.

  3. Grease and flour 2 individual molds. Fill them halfway, and place 2 squares of dark chocolate in the center of each mold. Cover with the remaining batter.

  4. At the last moment, bake your chocolate lava cakes for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F).

Serve hot or warm, with a custard, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a few red fruits.

Keep in mind that... Whatever the aphrodisiac virtues of the foods, it’s primarily the atmosphere in which they are consumed that will impact the erotic charge of the moment! Massages, caresses... It’s up to you to be inventive in creating an ambiance conducive to a warm moment.
