Carole realized that parents needed to understand the products they used every day for their children, and for themselves. Products that embody the strong values that new generations long for: trust, truth, transparency.
We want to build a world where everyone can know and look inside the factories, where everyone can ask a retailer or distributor about their choices and margins.

A former actress and a novelist, Carole embarked on a career as an entrepreneur at the age of 30 by creating MommyVille, a social network for young parents. She realized parents had lots of questions that remained unanswered about the daily products they were using for their children. Puzzled by the lack of transparency of traditional retailers, she decided to launch JOONE in order to create high quality, eco-responsible, clean products with a strong emphasis on traceability and transparency. JOONE now ships 5 million diapers each month to 23 countries and now distributes cosmetic products for the entire family.
